Billboard has unveiled its highly anticipated list of the Top 50 Best Afrobeats Songs of All Time, with Nigerian music legend 2Face taking the crown for his iconic track ‘African Queen’, which claims the prestigious number one spot.
In a remarkable display of talent, Wizkid emerges as the only artist with two entries within the top 10.
His anthemic track ‘Ojuelegba’ secures the second position, while his collaboration with Tems, ‘Essence’, comes in at number five, further solidifying his influence in the Afrobeats genre.
The list features a diverse array of prominent Afrobeats artists, some of whom have made significant contributions to the genre.
Rema’s infectious hit ‘Calm Down’ takes the fourth spot, followed closely by Favour’s popular remix ‘Nwa Baby (Ashawo Remix)’ at number three.
CKay’s viral sensation ‘Love Nwantiti’ takes the sixth position, affirming its global impact and crossover appeal.
