The headquarters of the 23 Brigade Nigerian Army, Yola, will hold the first quarter range classification exercise for this year on March 17 – 18 March 2025 at Mayo-Inne shooting range, along the Malkohi general area.
The shooting exercise, according to the statement made available to journalists in Yola, by the acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations, Headquarters, 23 Brigade, Lt. Adebayo Samuel Adewumi, is a military training designed to improve the shooting skills of soldiers.

The exercise, he said, will involve firing of live ammunition at the range, and urged the public not to panic on hearing the blasts.
Also, he advised the public to keep off from the vicinity of the range at Mayo-Inne area, throughout the period of the exercise.
Activities such as hunting and rearing of animals around the range , the brigade said, “are hereby suspended until the completion of the exercise.
