Leaders and stakeholders of the Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu Federal Constituency Forum (U3) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have thrown their full support behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, endorsing both leaders for re-election in 2027.
The endorsement came during a well-attended meeting on Sunday at Ovwian in Udu Local Government Area, where political heavyweights and grassroots mobilizers pledged loyalty to the Tinubu-Oborevwori ticket.
Moving the motion for the vote of confidence, Hon. Francis Waive, member representing Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, praised President Tinubu for his developmental strides, especially the recent approval of a Federal Medical Centre in Udu. Waive also applauded Governor Oborevwori’s leadership style, describing him as a progressive and hardworking leader who deserves a second term alongside President Tinubu.
He urged APC members to participate actively in the ongoing voter registration exercise, stressing the need for massive mobilization to secure victory in 2027.
The motion, seconded by Hon. Matthew Omonade, member representing Ughelli North Constituency I in the Delta State House of Assembly, was unanimously adopted through a voice vote led by the forum’s chairman, Olorogun John Oguma.
In his remarks, Oguma said the U3 forum was formed to strengthen unity within the APC and ensure the re-election of both leaders. He declared that “in Abuja, there is no vacancy in Aso Rock, and in Asaba, there is no vacancy in Dennis Osadebe House,” emphasizing the group’s readiness to deliver victories across all five elections in 2027.
Oguma noted that the forum existed even before the merger of legacy parties and stressed the importance of inclusiveness and collaboration in the build-up to the polls.

In his vote of thanks, the Secretary of the forum and former Secretary to the Delta State Government, Rt. Hon. Festus Agas, applauded members for their steadfastness and unity of purpose.
Also speaking, Udu Local Government Chairman, Chief Vincent Oyibode, praised the forum’s voter registration campaign and encouraged members to continue sensitizing their communities on the importance of obtaining their voter cards.

The meeting drew prominent leaders, stakeholders, and supporters from across Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu, signaling a renewed sense of unity and determination within the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections.
