A political pressure group, the South-East Renewed Hope Agenda (SERHA) has launched the Ebonyi State chapter of the group ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The inauguration which took place at the Salt Lake Resort in Abakaliki, drew hundreds of supporters and featured a large-scale empowerment programme targeting grassroots beneficiaries across the state.
National Coordinator of SERHA, Belusochukwu Enwere, described the initiative as a platform to showcase the achievements of President Tinubu’s administration and galvanize widespread grassroots support in the South East.
“This initiative was conceived to showcase the progress and development of President Bola Tinubu. We are united in our resolve for a better future through a people-oriented administration,” Enwere stated.
He highlighted the establishment and operationalization of the South East Development Commission (SEDC) as a critical achievement for the region under Tinubu’s leadership.
“With SEDC now fully functional, opportunities for growth and development in the South East will be unlocked,” he added.
Enwere charged the newly inaugurated Ebonyi State chapter to be worthy ambassadors of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
“You are now the marshals of this movement. Carry the message of good governance to every ward and community. The South East will not be left behind in this journey of national transformation,” he declared.

“Ebonyi State is the salt of the nation and a key pillar in this renewed hope project. Since our zonal empowerment in Owerri in December 2024, we have worked tirelessly to improve the lives of our people,” Alaka stated.
The event attracted representatives from the 13 local government areas and 171 wards in the state.
