Eleven more Super Eagles players will arrive to join the 10 who got there earlier for Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying playoff against Gabon, which is set for November 13.
This new group includes William Troost-Ekong from Al-Kholood, Brentford loanee Benjamin Fredrick, and Nantes defender Chidozie Awaziem, among others.
The players who arrived earlier on Sunday are Fulham’s Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey, and Samuel Chukwueze; Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Tolu Arokodare; former Golden Eaglets star, Olakunle Olusegun; Besiktas midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi; and Paris FC standout Moses Simon.

As the Super Eagles begin their preparations for this important winner-takes-all match against Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and his team, 11 more players are expected to join today.
The players still on their way include Super Eagles stars like Stanley Nwabali, Maduka Okoye, Amas Obasogie, Semi Ajayi, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Bruno Onyemaechi, Zaidu Sanusi, Frank Onyeka, Alhassan Yusuf, Ademola Lookman, Victor Osimhen, Chidera Ejuke, Akor Adams, and Raphael Onyedika.
Nigeria will take on Gabon in Rabat this Thursday.
If they win that match, they will move on to the African playoff final against either Cameroon or the Democratic Republic of Congo on November 16.
