Hollywood comic actor Ed Gale dies at 61

Ed Gale, renowned for his role as the horror figure Chucky in several installments of the “Child’s Play” franchise, has passed away at the age of 61, according to reports by TMZ.

A source present at the time of Ed’s passing informed a TMZ correspondent that he died on Tuesday while in hospice care in Los Angeles.

His niece, Kayse Gale, honoured her “fun uncle” with a touching post on Facebook, stating that he has “taken his final bow and is now headlining in the afterlife.”

No details regarding the cause of his death have been disclosed.
