Big Brother season 7 winner and reality TV actress, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, better known online as Phyna, has faced a backlash when she went online to criticise a Lagos restaurant that turned her away for wearing an improper outfit.
“So, I went to have dinner at one Cali Restaurant. Abi what they call the place…. Omo, they said I’m dressed indecently and I can’t enter o,” Phyna wrote in a tweet that went viral and sparked reactions. She seemed startled by the outcome of her visit.
Social media users praised the restaurant for refusing her a table and condemned Phyna for her unethical attire, instead of feeling sorry for her.
“Decency is a core virtue at the pinnacle of status. In a setting involving money and business transactions, no one wants to view your privates,” @Viktorbensont stated.
As stated by @Unwamaassam: “I applaud the restaurant’s management. Girls will be forced to learn proper attire if public spaces adopt the policy of ejecting or blocking patrons who are dressed indecently.

@Luckyflow1said that “it’s high time they start doing this more often… if you want to be naked, stay in your house… I don’t think people understand how much of a target to embarrassment they make themselves by dressing almost naked. Like you’re trying to have the whole attention to yourself?
“And if mad man come randomly spank you or tear your clothes, you’ll come online and complain as if everyone in the society should be responsible for your safety while you make yourself a target carefree?”

Also giving kudos to the restaurant @Etuwer025915 said: “I applaud the restaurant for upholding their standards and denying entry to the lady. As role models, especially to the younger generation, it’s crucial we set good examples. Revealing attire can perpetuate negative influences and undermine moral values.”
