Fatai Odunsi, the father of music sensation Asake has declared that they have reconciled their differences, after a public dispute stemming from Odunsi’s health issues after having a stroke in 2022.
Odunsi had previously accused Asake of neglect, but in a recent video, he shared that the artist had reached out to him and assured him of his financial support.
Odunsi revealed that their relationship has been mended, stating “we are no longer fighting.”
He expressed pride in Asake, sharing that his son is committed to purchasing a new house for him and covering his medical expenses.
“Asake said he will do everything that I want,” Odunsi remarked, emphasizing that their differences have been resolved.
“His mother ought to ask him when last he saw me. That was what got me angry, but we have sorted all the problems. We are no longer fighting,” he said.
According to him, Asake has committed to purchasing a new house for him and covering his medical expenses.

Odunsi expressed pride in his son and praised him, saying they have settled their differences.
“Asake said he will do everything that I want. We have settled, no more problems. They are now looking for a new house that he will buy for me. He has settled everything,” he stated.
Additionally, he said that Asake has pledged to take full responsibility for his 11-year-old daughter, Zeenat, affirming that he has never denied her.
“He has never denied his child, but he has now promised to take full responsibility for the child,” he added.
Odunsi confirmed that Asake has sent him the necessary funds for his treatment and he will be visiting the hospital soon.
Their reconciliation marks a positive turn in their relationship as they move forward together.
