A tragic incident unfolded in Ikorodu, Lagos, where 19-year-old Opesusi Timilehin committed suicide after becoming overwhelmed by her UTME score.
Originally from Abeokuta, Ogun State, she had been living with her older sister at the time of writing the UTME in Lagos.
In a state of distress, she ingested a poisonous substance known as ‘Push Out’ and later sought help from her sister, requesting palm oil.
Unfortunately, her condition deteriorated, and while being rushed to Kolak Hospital, she confessed to the poisoning.
