President Bola Tinubu has commiserated with Jigawa State Governor, Umar Namadi, over the passing of his mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi.
Hajiya Maryam, the family’s matriarch, who died on December 25 had since been buried according to Islamic rites in the governor’s hometown of Kafin Hausa.

The President in a release issued on Thursday by his Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, extolled the deceased’s community service and strongly encouraged her family to immortalise her by continuing her philanthropic undertakings to ensure her legacy lives forever.
In the condolence message, President Tinubu urged Gov. Namadi and other family members who survived the deceased to take solace in the enduring good name left behind by her.
