The Senator representing Sokoto South senatorial district, Ibrahim Danbaba has dumped his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He made his defection known in a letter of notification read on the floor of the Senate during Wednesday plenary.

Danbaba cited the continued and multi-faceted crisis that bedevilled the PDP in Sokoto State for his defection.
He said he has the APC, because of the political ideology that aligns with his personal beliefs.
