The Isoko South Constituency 1, Social Democratic Party (SDP) House of Assembly Candidate in 2023 general election , Hon. Chief Dickson Fineboy Ebegbare has announced his resignation from the party, citing unresolved issues within the state chapter and local government area of the party.

In his resignation letter addressed to the Ward Chairman of Irri Ward 11 in Isoko South Local Government Area, Hon. Ebegbare stated that recent developments within the party had made it “impossible for me to continue with the party as a member.”

The letter, dated December 30, 2024, emphasized Hon. Ebegbare’s appreciation for the opportunity to serve under the party’s platform, particularly during the 2023 general elections. He commended the dedication of the party faithful and expressed gratitude to the national chairman, Alh. Shehu Musa Gabam, and his team for their leadership.

Hon. Ebegbare’s resignation letter was copied to the National Chairman of SDP, the Delta State Chairman, and the Local Government Chairman of the party.
