The Adamawa State Police Command has condemned two separate arson attacks that razed properties in Lafiya, Lamurde Local Government Area, and Boshikiri village in Guyuk Local Government Area.
The incidents, reported on 2nd July 2025, involved unidentified individuals setting fire to thatched huts, destroying properties belonging to Mrs. Ododumga Kenneth and Mr. Nura Haruna.
In a statement issued by the command through the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, the Commissioner of Police, Dankombo Morris, was said to have ordered a discreet investigation into the incidents and immediate deployment of personnel to forestall further violence and apprehend those responsible.

Morris warned that anyone found inciting violence or engaging in criminal acts would face the full weight of the law.
The Command urged residents to remain calm, cooperate with security operatives, and report any suspicious activities to the police.
