Police arrest siblings for alleged conspiracy, armed robbery in Lagos

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested two siblings, Emmanuella Ogochukwu, 25, and her younger brother, Ogbuka Tochukwu, 22, for allegedly conspiring with others to rob a man of three iPhones and bitcoins worth ₦15 million.

According to a police report, the case was initially reported at Okota Police Station before being transferred to a special investigative unit for further probe.

The victim alleged that his girlfriend, Emmanuella, worked with her brother and his associates to orchestrate the robbery.

Following Emmanuella’s confession, police operatives tracked down and arrested Tochukwu. Both suspects admitted to the crime, leading to the recovery of the stolen phones and ₦6.5 million, which have been registered as exhibits.

The police have launched a manhunt for the remaining gang members, with investigations ongoing. Authorities assured the public that further updates will be provided as the case progresses.
