The Lagos State Police Command has arrested three suspects linked to cult activities in the Elemoro area of Lagos.
The suspects, identified as 28-year-old Christopher Amah, 38-year-old Bada Olusesi, and 34-year-old Magaji Yusuf, were taken into custody while attending a cult meeting on April 26, 2025.
This information was shared by the Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, on behalf of the commissioner of police for Lagos State.

He said while on routine patrol, police officers received reports about a suspected gathering of around 15 people who were believed to be involved in cult activities.
“Acting quickly, they managed to apprehend three suspects, and investigations are ongoing,” Hundeyin said.
The police spokesperson added that the Commissioner of Police, Olohundare Jimoh, expressed his commitment to eliminating cultism in the state.
He emphasized that under his leadership, there will be no safe haven for cultists.
