The Adamawa State Police Command has announced the arrest of two suspected armed robbers and the recovery of a stolen vehicle, marking another breakthrough in its ongoing crackdown on criminal activities.
According to a statement issued by the command’s Public Relations Officer, Suleiman Nguroje, the suspects were apprehended by operatives from the Yolde Pate Divisional Police following credible intelligence.
Led by Abdullahi Abubakar, the officers responded swiftly to information indicating that a black 2015 Honda Accord, earlier snatched from one Sadisu Umar Sani in Sabon Gari, Jalingo, the Taraba State capital, had been moved to Yola.
The arrested suspects were identified as Emmanuel Sale, 28, and Jibrilla Hassan, 36.
Both suspects, according to the statement, are residents of Sabon Gari, Jalingo.

Apart from the arrest, the police, also confirmed the recovery of the stolen vehicle during the operation.
The Commissioner of Police, Dankombo Morris, commended the officers for their prompt and effective response.
He ordered that the case be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Yola, for further investigation in collaboration with the Taraba State Police Command.
“The Adamawa State Police Command remains steadfast in its commitment to protecting lives and property and will continue to intensify efforts to rid the state of criminal elements,” the statement added.
