The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited has published its Monthly Report Summary for June 2025, showcasing impressive strides in operational efficiency, sales, and corporate social responsibility across Nigeria.
According to the report, crude oil and condensate production stood at 1.68 million barrels per day (mbpd), with 905 million standard cubic feet (mmscf) of gas supplied to power. Crude oil sales reached 4.571 million barrels, while gas sales climbed to 6,961 mmscf.
In terms of revenue, NNPC recorded sales of 7.581 million barrels of crude oil and condensate. The report also highlighted a 71% achievement in export receipt remittance and a 96% remittance to the Federation Account, reflecting the company’s improved fiscal discipline and transparency. Impressively, compliance with the Domestic Crude Oil Obligation hit 83%, a significant boost to local refining and product availability.

The report charts indicate stable performance in both crude oil and gas sales across the first half of the year, with sales volumes consistently above 6,000 mmscf monthly since January. Crude oil sales showed monthly fluctuations, peaking in May before a slight drop in June.
A visual map highlights NNPC’s extensive pipeline surveillance system across the country, covering both the Niger Delta and inland states. Strategic efforts are ongoing in key locations to combat oil theft and pipeline vandalism, with increased collaboration with local communities and security agencies.
NNPC Foundation’s public impact initiatives took center stage, including the 2025 Cradle-to-Career (C2C) program, which offers full scholarships to 3,000 students nationwide. The initiative focuses on grooming future leaders through quality education, with recent events held in Delta and Kano states.
NNPC reaffirmed its commitment to operational excellence, energy sustainability, and national development. The June 2025 report reflects an upward trend in production efficiency and social impact, setting a strong tone for the second half of the year.
