You’re a ‘Trusted Son of Nigeria’, Dakuku Tells Amaechi

Former Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Peterside Dakuku has described the Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, as a “trusted son of Nigeria” whose courage and character transcend religious and regional boundaries.

Dakuku stated this Saturday in a congratulatory message to the Minister over his turban as the Dan Amanar Daura by the Daura Emirate Council under the leadership of the Emir, His Majesty, Alhaji Umar Farouk Umar.

He noted that Amaechi is a bridge builder between the North and South, Christians and Muslims as well as young and old. Adding that Nigeria is yet to get the best of the Minister.

Dakuku said: “It is a day to celebrate your accomplishments, courage, character, strength and boldness. You are a bridge that connects the north and the south. Christianity and Islam. In love and, the young and old.

“You are a “Trusted son of Nigeria” and our country is yet to get the best of you. Congratulations Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi (Honorable Minister of Transportation) on your turban ceremony as Dan Amanar Daura (The Trusted One).”

On Saturday in a well attended event, Amaechi was be turbaned as the “Dan Amana” (the trusted one) of Daura alongside a business mogul, Nasiru Haladu Dani, who received the title of Tafida Babba of Daura by the Emirate Council in Daura, Katsina State.
