Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo paid a visit to the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Olalekan Balogun, at his Alarere Palace in Ibadan on Friday April 22, 2022.
Osinbajo’s visit to the revered traditional ruler preceded a meeting with his presidential support groups in Oyo State.
In his statement after receiving the Vice President, the Olubadan said “…very soon hopefully, in God’s name you will be president of Nigeria”.

He continued: “As we watch ourselves, God watches us too…and nine out of 10 cases what we think about ourselves is what God thinks of us, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, you are a wonderful human being, you are a wonderful person, may Allah grant you access to what you are looking for, may Allah support you”
Shortly after the meeting with the traditional ruler, Osinbajo quickly moved to the Ibadan Civic Center where the support groups were waiting for his arrival for the meeting with them.
Important personalities at the event include Senator Teslim Folarin, Chief Osunbor, Chief Niyi Akintola, Senator Bulkachuwa, Babafemi Ojudu amongst others.
