The Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum, (PDP-GF), under the Chairmanship of the Governor of Sokoto State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal CFR, has felicitated with Governor Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa of Delta State as he turned 63.
A statement by Hon. C.I.D. Maduabum, LLM, Director-General, PDP Governors’ Forum said “we join members of your family, friends, political associates and citizens of Delta State in thanking God for his blessings of good health, wisdom and forbearance on you all these past years.
“The Forum is glad to be associated with your many achievements in private and public career especially your recent selection as the Vice Presidential candidate to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Wazirin Adamawa, the flagbearer of our party for the 2023 presidential election.
“Your selection is roundly earned and we are confident you will bring value and purpose to the ticket, following your exemplary demonstration of capacity and dedication to service, in the other public offices you have held in public administration, since the return of the country to democratic ways in 1999.

“We are particularly delighted and encouraged by the lofty achievements you will leave behind in Delta State, after your two terms as Governor, in education through your vocational and technical initiatives, massive roads construction, for which citizens of Delta fondly call you “The Road Master”, infrastructure provision by way of flood control interventions and other urban renewal works, graduate and youths employment and empowerment schemes, healthcare services and equipment deployment, power, sports, security amongst others.
“The Forum also appreciates your salient contributions to its growth, our party, PDP, and the country in general.
“We pray to God Almighty to continue to bless you with more wisdom, good health of body and mind, as you prepare to assume the office of the Vice President, after the 2023 election.”
