Manchester United’s hopes of signing Napoli striker Victor Osimhen may have hit the brick wall over the asking price of the Italian club for the player.
Osimhen who signed in from Lille for a record fee of €80m, made him the most expensive African player ever in history.
The ace striker has made 22 appearances with four assists while netting 11 times for Napoli this season.

Following the uncertainty surrounding the future of Cristiano Ronaldo likewise Edison Cavani at Old Trafford, Manchester United have resulted in Osimhen’s option in the summer transfer season to forge their new campaign for 2022/2023
Meanwhile, Spanish giant Real Madrid and Arsenal are also interested in the player whose contract runs until 2025 with Napoli.
However, according to his monetary worth for Osimhen, Napoli chairman Aurelio De Laurentiis is adamant to allow the striker to leave for anything less than £100m.
