The Trumpet MD to speak to teenagers on effect of drug abuse

The Managing Director of Elomaz Communications Limited, Publishers of The Trumpet Newspaper, Mr Endurance Edafewotu has been invited as a special guest to speak to students on the effects of drugs and narcotics.

The event organised by a Non Governmental organization, Global Peace in collaboration with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and Premier Academy is to create awareness among Secondary schools on the
effect of drugs.

Mr Martin Igwe, Chairman, Organising Committee of the event disclosed that “in line with the mandate of the National Drug law Enforcement Agency to eliminate drugs and narcotics, a one day roundtable with selected secondary schools students has been scheduled to hold in Abuja”.

Igwe said the aim is to inculcate the need to strengthen the voices of teenagers to be Ambassadors of War Against Drug Abuse which is critical to the realization of basic education policies of the government.

The event is scheduled to hold on 10th February 2022 at the Premier Academy in Lugbe, Abuja.
