Edo unveils tech training programme for 5000 women

Edo State Government in partnership with Udacity, a global online educational organization, has announced the opening of 5000 slots for women on the EdoWorX Tech Fundamentals Programme.

Managing Director of Edo State Skills Development Agency, EdoJobs, Mrs Ukinebo Dare, in a statement, said the EdoWorX Tech Fundamental Programme which was under her management, would provide scholarships to train women on in-demand tech skills. The Trumpet Gathered

She said the initiative offered scholarships to train Edo State residents with more focus on women on in-demand tech skills such as Web Development Fundamental, Data Analytics Fundamental and Digital Marketing Fundamental.

According to her, the EdoWorX Tech Fundamentals Programme was a tech upskilling initiative for beginners with zero experience in tech, adding that the programme aimed to create the next generation of digital work professionals in top digital skills
