
English club Chelsea and Inter Milan will complete Romelu Lukaku’s loan deal today emerging reports from Italy confirm.
Chelsea’s asking price for the player of about €15m as been termed outrageous by Nerazzurri, but the latter would finally ensure the deal is completed today.
Tuttosport reported that despite previous inconclusive bearing of the deal, both clubs will finally arrive at a conclusion when they meet today, The Trumpet gathered.
Lukaku wore the Inter jersey three years ago for two seasons and soared in Italy where he scored 64 times in 95 appearances to write his name on the fans’ lips.
Consequently, his performance in Serie A spurred Chelsea into breaking bank to sign him back to Stamford Bridge in a whopping sum of €113m last year.

However, the player has failed to replicate the same feat that made him fans’ favourite in San Siro for Thomas Tuchel’s side, scoring only 15 goals in 44 appearance in all competitions.
Another Italian media La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Nerazzurri’s President, Steven Zhang, will try to convince Todd Boehly to lower the price tag for Lukaku when both clubs meet today, with Inter Milan not likely to exceed a speculated offer of €10m with €2m add-ons for the Belgian striker.
