Eno appoints former APC chieftain, 3 others as Political Advisers

Akwa Ibom State Governor Pastor Umo Eno has announced the appointment of four political Advisers in the state.

In a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government and made available to newsmen in Uyo on Monday, the four appointees are drawn from the three senatorial districts in the state.

According to the statement, the new appointees include a former Commissioner and Chairman of Akwa Ibom State Road Maintenance Agency Dr Godwin NtukUde as Political Adviser.

Others are Hon Udo Kierian Akpan; immediate past Leader of Akwa Ibom state House of Assembly appointed as Honorary Political Adviser for Akwa Ibom North West senatorial district and Henry Archibong for Uyo senatorial district.

Eno also announced the appointment of Bishop Samuel Akpan as Honorary Political Adviser for Eket senatorial district.

Akpan was a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) before he defected to PDP, joined the campaign team of Eno during the last governorship election in the state.

The statement added that the appointment takes immediate effect.
