Abdulsalami, others Honoured at Minna Varsity

Federal University of Technology (FUT), Minna, Niger State has graduated 3,892 students. Of the figure, 58 bagged first class degree, 948 Second Class Upper Division, 2,049 Second Class Lower Division and 801 Third Class.

It was at the university’s 30th convocation and 38th founders day celebration where 200 students were awarded Postgraduate Diplomas, 836 Masters degrees, 121 Doctorate degrees.

Four eminent Nigerians were also bestowed honorary degrees. They include General Abdulsalami Abubakar, GCFR, a former Head of State; Alhaji Abdul Samad Rabiu, founder and Chairman, BUA Group; Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, President, African Development Bank and Malam Mele Kolo Kyari, Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Company Ltd.
