Sporting Lisbon signs promising Ghanaian young star Fatawu Issahaku

Sporting Lisbon has signed promising football talent, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, who plays for Ghana’s Steadfast FC.
The Portuguese club in an undisclosed fee constrained the terms of his contract with a release clause of €60 million.
Issahaku, having signed a five years contract that will see the winger continue his career until 2027 in Portugal, has eight international caps with the Black Stars of Ghana.
In an interview with Sporting TV, the elated Ghanaian chap hinted that Sporting Lisbon presented an opportunity for him to improve his career, The Trumpet gathered.
He said: “I’m very happy to be here, it’s fantastic.

“There are many differences between the football I was playing and Sporting. It will make me grow more.
“The Ghanaians believe in me and I had opportunities very early on.
“They made my dream possible and without that I don’t think I would be here,” he added.
Moreover, Issahaku played in all of Ghana’s group games at this year’s Africa Cup of Nations, and both legs of last month’s 2022 World Cup play-off against Nigeria which the Black Stars won on away goals.
