Should Aribo consent to the deal to switch to head coach Ralph Hasenhüttl’s side this summer, it will be a return to England after leaving Charlton Athletic for Ibrox on a free transfer 4 years ago.

The number 10 made his debut for the national side in 2019 under former coach Gernot Rohr and has earned 20 caps, netting 2 goals for Nigeria in international friendly matches.

Last season, Aribo played 70 matches to become the only player in Europe’s top divisions to reach the mark in a single season, and he was also instrumental to help Rangers reach the Europa League final where they lost on penalties to Eintracht Frankfurt.
