Rita Dominic’s wedding: RMD explains absence at event
Veteran Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo has given reason for his absence at Rita Dominic’s wedding.
Recall that Rita Dominic tied the nuptial knot traditionally with Fidelis Anosike on Tuesday in Imo State.
Some Nigerians, while celebrating Rita’s marriage, queried the absence of some Nollywood stars like Genevieve Nnaji, RMD, and Mercy Johnson, The Trumpet gathered.
But RMD took to his Instagram page on Friday to explain why he was absent at the wedding.

He disclosed that he would have loved to grace the ‘epic event but was far away.
His post read: “Congratulations my beautiful Riri @ritadominic. I would have loved to grace this epic event but I’m far far away.
“Here is a toast to your beautiful union. God bless your marriage.”
The star-studded ceremony however had the likes of Chidi Mokeme, Kate Henshaw, Joke Silva, Ini Edo, and many others in attendance.
