Premier League results for Saturday are as follows; Liverpool defeated Watford 2-0. Thanks to Diogo Jota’s 22nd minute opener and Fabinho’s 89th-minute penalty. They are now 72points from 30 league games and maintains the second position with a point below Manchester City.

Brighton and Hove played a zeros draw with Norwich after Neal Maupay missed a penalty in the 29th minute.

Manchester City maintained the lead on the Premier League table with two first-half minutes strikes from Kevin De Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan to win Burnley 2-0 at Turf Moor.

Chelsea was trounced 4-1 by visiting Brentford at Stamford Bridge. After Rudiger’s opener to give the UEFA Champions League champions a brief lead, Brentford responded with unreplied four goals by Vitaly Janelt (2), C. Eriksen (1), and Yoane Wissa (1).

Leads United played a one-all draw with Southampton at  Elland Road with goals from Jack Harrison (L) and J. Ward-Prowse (S) respectively.

With an own goal from Ashley Young, Wolverhampton Wanderers were able to defeat visiting Aston Villa 2-1 at the Molineux Stadium.
