Tiwa Savage to receive ‘Doctor of Music’ honour from Kent University
Nigerian highly rated musician, songwriter and entertainer, Tiwa Savage-Balogun, known within the showbiz circles as Tiwa Savage continues her rapid rise to the top African music celebrity.
The multiple award winning recording and performing artiste is set to be awarded with a honorary doctorate degree from her Alma Mater, The University of Kent on Friday, July 15, 2022. The Trumpet Gathered
Tiwa Savage who is currently on her ‘Water & Garri’ tour has been listed as one of the 10 inspirational individuals to be awarded an honorary doctorate degree by Kent University at its congregation ceremonies this July.

According to a statement from the institution which is based in Kent, United Kingdom, Tiwa Savage ‘will be made Doctor of Music in recognition of her inspirational and international career in music industry’.
Tiwatope Savage-Balogun studied Business Administration at Kent University before moving on to study music at the Berklee College of Music.
