Police arrest suspected kidnappers in Adamawa

Adamawa State Police Command has apprehended 13 suspected kidnappers and confiscated several weapons including AK 47 rifle, dane guns, three motorcycles, and N358,500 among others.

At a press conference at the police headquarters, Monday, the Commissioner of Police, CP Sikiru Kayode Akande, appreciated the Adamawa state government, sister security agencies, journalists, and all stakeholders for their contributions which led to the success.

The police commissioner assured that the Force would not rest on its oars until all criminals were brought to book, urging the public to maintain their unflinching support to the command.

According to him, the suspects were arrested in different raids across the State.

“The command appreciates members of the general public and further assures that all the suspects will be diligently prosecuted on completion of the investigation.

“The police will not relent in the manhunt of those suspects at large until they are apprehended and brought to book. We are reassuring all that measures are in place to ensure peace and stability in the state,” Akande added.

He assured the general public that all those apprehended will be duly and diligently prosecuted upon completion of investigation.
