Ondo Governor Seeks Partnership on Educational Development

Friday Omosola

Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, has said government alone cannot fund education as it required partnership with the private sector.

The Governor who made this declaration at the 60th anniversary of the Akoko Anglican Grammar School, Arigidi Akoko (AKOGRAM), noted that partnership is crucial for the development of education.

This, he said, explained why he prioritized education, stating that the bedrock of any meaningful development in any nation is human capital development through the provision of quality education.

Akeredolu pledges to tackle the infrastructural deficit in the state, adding that the education sector requires huge financial obligations before any meaningful impact would be achieved.
