Ondo CAN Gets New Chairman

Reverend Father Anselm Ologunwa of the Catholic church, Ondo Diocese, has become the new chairman of the Christians Association of Nigeria, CAN, Ondo state chapter.

Father Anslem emerged following the expiration of the tenure of the outgoing chairman, Revd. Dr. Ayo Oladapo.

Presenting the new CAN chairman of the state to the state Media Executives, at the new CAN state Secretariat in Akure, Revd. Oladapo described the process that produced Ologunwa as peaceful and hitch-free.

He said the process followed a review of the association’s constitution which had laid down rules to follow on how a new CAN Chairman can emerge.

At the event, some pupils were also presented with some cash to support their education.
