Obi meets with Southern leaders

Presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi, on Tuesday  continued his consultations by visiting leaders of the South and Middle Belt.

He was at the residence of the leader of pan-Yoruba socio-cultural group, Afenifere, Pa Ayo Adebanjo, in Lagos where he paid homage to the aged elder statesman and some chieftains of the South and Middle Belt Leadership
Forum.

Obi made this known on his tweeter handle where he posted pictures of his visit along with his associates.

According to Obi, he was at the location with leaders of LP.

Details of the meeting were sketchy at the time of filling this story, but the visit may not be unconnected with Obi’s vast consultations with stakeholders across the country on his presidential ambition ahead of the 2023 polls.
