Nigerian Hunters and forest security services seek community support in Jigawa

The Nigerian Hunters and Forest Security Services, Jigawa state chapter has requested the support of wealthy individuals to assist its personnel with working tools to enhance their duties.

The appeal was made by the State Commandant, Alhaji Sale Umar shortly after the celebration by members following federal government approval to include the  Hunters and Forest Security Services as part of the country’s security architecture The Trumpet gathered.

Sale explained that the forest is part of their home and it is their responsibility to guard all forests in the state to tackle insecurity at all levels.

Sale disclosed that personnel of the Hunters and  Forest Services have in the last three months arrested many suspected kidnappers terrorising people along the border communities and handed them over to the  Police.

“Our people recovered two buses and nine motorcycles around Sule, Maigatari in Gumel Emirate. He added that previously in Gwaram area, three persons were arrested in connection with duping .

Sale promised to work for the progress of the state and the country to protect life and property of the people .

He urged Jigawa communities to come to their aid by providing them with torch lights, rain coats  and rain boots adding that politicians and wealthy individuals should assist their office with vehicles to enable them discharge their duty.
