The Nigeria U19 Boys Volleyball team ignited an ecstatic atmosphere as they returned in grand style to the country on Wednesday after defending the African Nations Championship’s title in Morocco to qualify for the 2023 World U19 Volleyball championship.

Through the Murtala Muhammed International airport where the triumphant team were received by the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), the Authentic Nigeria Supporters Club cheered them up with encomiums.

The Nigeria U19 Boys Volleyball team passed through a tumultuous road to defend their title, with Egypt the last of the foe to be plummeted in a straight three-set win.

In a statement by the President, NVBF, Engr Nimrod, the triumphant team displayed a rare manner of discipline and resilience to dislodge four North African teams en route to the finals, including a 25-20, 25-18, 31-29 victory against Egypt on Sunday.
