“My support group for Umo cuts across 31 local govt areas” –Okoriko

The Founder and President of Solid Rock Kingdom Apostle John Okoriko has said that the support group he created for the governorship candidate of Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) pastor Umo Eno cuts across 31 local government area of the state.

Speaking during Thanksgiving Service at the National headquarters of Solid Rock Kingdom Church, Ibekwe Akpan Nya, Mkpat Enin local government area to mark 74th birthday on Sunday, Okoriko said PDP and Umoh will win the 2023 general election.

Okoriko who gave a horrible account of his experience in the hands of kidnappers 7 months ago said the victory of pastor Umo Eno in 2023 is not negotiable to security and peace in the state.

” Umo Eno is my personal friend. Right from the day Governor Udom Emmanuel presented him to the ‘Fathers of Faith in the state, I started to mop up support from all my congregations across the 31 local government areas of the state.

” I also encouraged my members to get their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) to vote for pastor Umo Eno. The Lord will stand by him to win this election ” he said.

Responding, the PDP governorship candidate in state pastor Umo Eno said he would never take such support from Apostle Okoriko and his Church for granted.

Umo Eno said the church has been his dependable companion in his ambition to become the governor of the state.

Umo Eno who was represented by his wife Patience Umo Eno said the time has come for the church to rise in defence of democracy

He said the kidnappers who abducted the man of God were insulting a member of the body of Christ and can not go unpunished.

” Although the church has prayed for the forgiveness of the kidnappers, there must be a mark on them to show that they insulted a man of God . ” he said
