Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has included Kylian Mbappe in its squad ahead of the clash with Real Madrid on Wednesday at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The player whose availability was in doubt to face the Spanish giant in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League tie has been given a pass by the club’s medical team to feature for PSG.
PSG left for Spain this morning with Kylian Mbappe, having been given a green-light that boosted the morale of Mauricio Pochettino’s men ahead of the clash.
Before this latest development stating the return of the player to the squad, Paris Saint-Germain had said Kylian Mbappe’s injury was being assessed to determine if the player will be available to feature in the second-leg match against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The French club knows the importance of Mbappe, who scored the only goal in the first-leg clash at Parc des Princes. PSG had to do everything possible to see the player return from his knock to lead their attack against Madrid.

Mbappe’s importance to PSG can not be overemphasised as the player’s absence in the last feature against Nice on Saturday made the team lose at Allianz Riviera after substitute Andy Delort bamboozled a volley 2 minutes to stoppage time to earn Nice a leap ahead of Marseille on the French Ligue 1 table.
Moreover, the second leg clash against Madrid is a perfect opportunity for Mbappe to prove his worth to the Spanish giant who are interested in securing his signature during the summer transfer window.
However, PSG, having done a review of the player’s injury stated that it will monitor the development to conclude from an informed position to know if the player will be available for the clash.
Mbappe, presently the leading goal scorer in PSG with 15 goals in Ligue 1, surpasses the total sum of goals by Neymar Junior, Mauro Icardi, and Danilo Luís Hélio Pereira.
Furthermore, Mbappe has also made one of the highest assists for the season for PSG with 10 assists, sharing this feat with Lionel Messi. With Mbappe returning ahead of time, PSG will go into the match with boosted confidence.
