Manchester City step up interest to land Haaland

Manchester City, who are among hosts of European clubs interested in signing Borussia Dortmund Erling Haaland, have allegedly accepted to trigger his release clause at the end of the summer.
Haaland, amid interest from Madrid, Barcelona, and Bayern Munich, may probably choose Manchester City ahead of these clubs.

It is reported by Marca that Manchester City is ready to trigger the player’s €75m release clause, an amount which may rise to about €120m to include Mino Raiola’s commission. The Trumpet gathered.
However, Manchester City is looking to fill the vacuum left by Sergio Aguero after they lost out in securing the services of Harry Kane from Tottenham last summer.
Reportedly, Paris Saint-Germain is also interested in the player to bolster its attack by next season for the Champions League contest.
