Luis Alberto eyes a return to Spain

Lazio attacking midfielder, Luis Alberto, has not reneged on his plans to moved to Spain despite failing to complete a switch last summer to Cadiz FC.

The Spaniard’s performed below the belt last season but have regained his prowess in 2023/2024 Serie A season, netting two goals in four matches.

According to reports from Italy, a January departure is not feasible, making the forthcoming summer season a possibility.

Moreover, he’s entering the final year of his contract with Lazio, which could facilitate his the move.

At 30 years old, his footballing abilities are still strong, and his eagerness to join Sergio Gonzalez’s side still persists.

Desperately, Alberto is willing to lower his asking price to make the move happen, but the key is striking a deal with Lazio, who are initially seeking at least €10M which is subject to negotiation.
