Liverpool, M’City: who slips first

Liverpool has been closely trailing league leaders Manchester City over the Premier League (PL) title this season. Both teams, having left an unprecedented gap between them and Chelsea in third, drew the red line to see who finishes ahead of each other to clinch the 2021- 22 Premier League (PL) trophy.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is focused on winning a quadruple for the season with a Carabao Cup already in the kitty. He dislodged Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel in the final at Wembley.
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is prepared for the mind games being played by the Red boss, winning all matches in a row except the draw recorded with his title contender.

Liverpool, yesterday, heaped loads of pressure on Manchester City after they narrowly won a high-spirited Newcastle at Saint James Park to leapfrog Manchester City to the top spot.
However, the Blues of Manchester returned to the top spot after bashing Leeds United 4-0 at Elland Road. Hernandez Rodri, Nathan Ake, Gabriel Jesus, and Roza Fernandinho all found their names in the romp.
With four Premier League matches left for both clubs to round up the season with the Champions League to compete for, one team is deemed to slip for the other before the season’s end.
