Lagos Police arrest fake soldiers, CP orders full investigation

Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested four persons including a female for impersonating the Nigerian Army.

The fake officers were arrested by policemen attached to Iju Division led by the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Gbenga Stephen, a Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP), who apprehended them while on routine patrol in Iju area of Lagos

The commissioner of police CP Abiodun Alabi has ordered that the fake officers should be moved immediately to State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) Yaba to enable detectives to commence full-scale investigation over their intention in Lagos State.

They were identified as Samuel Abel – 28, Victor ljeemai – 35, Lukman Salabiu – 43, and Onyinyechi Macus – 30.
