World-ranked number 45, Nick Kyrgios, has been fined by Wimbledon for spitting at fans after the match against British Paul Judd on Tuesday in round 128.

Before the match, the Aussie has pondered on the contest against Judd which he conceded would be tough due to the support from the home fans for the Briton.

Kyrgios reportedly had enjoyed similar support from fans during the Australian Open and would have been aware of what lies ahead with Judd. The Trumpet Gathered

Resultantly, Kyrgios won the five-set contest 6-3 1-6 5-7 7-6 (7-3) 5-7 to send Judd, who crashed out of the qualifiers of the Eastbourne International championship to United States Steve Johnson last month.

Consequent to recording a victory, Kyrgios spat to express his dismay at a section of the fans which attracted the attention of Wimbledon to investigate his activities.

According to the Aussie who admitted doing it, he said that his actions were preempted by the disrespect shown to him during the contest.

“Of one of the people disrespecting me, yes,” Kyrgios admitted.

“I would not be doing that to someone who was supporting me,” he added.

The Aussie happens to receive the highest fine from All England Club followed by Alexander Ritschard that was fined £4,105. He will face world-ranked No.6 Stefano Tsitsipas in round of 32 after he brushed off Serbian Filip Krajinovic 6-2 6-3 6-1 in the round of 64.
