I’m moving for Isoko youths development, empowerment, says APC Reps candidate

Candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Isoko Federal Constituency, Dr. Sylvester Onoyona, has said that he wants to go to the House of Representatives for youths development and empowerment in the area.

He made this known during interactive session with newsmen in Emede, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State. He stated that youths are the foundation of a society while their energies, inventiveness, character and orientation define the pace of development and security of a nation.

According to him, “The youths through their creative talents and labour power, a nation and make giant strides in economic development and sociopolitical attainments.” He said this was why he set up an NGO called Delta Youths of Today Association, through which he has effectively reached out to his people in the core areas of empowerment, community development, and education.

He affirmed that, amidst the supposed challenges of youth unemployment and under-employment, social vices, moral decadence and delinquency, their development is a sustainable panacea to surmount the problems.

He promised that if given the mandate to represent Isoko Federal Constituency, he will create a model with a coordinated, progressive series of activities and experiences which will help the youths to become socially, morally, economically, physically and cognitively competent.
