Leicester United Kelechi Iheanacho and Rangers United Leon Balogun have sent warning signals to the Black Stars of Ghana ahead of their FIFA World Cup playoff later this month.

Iheanacho, who was in the spotlight in the Europa Conference League clash with French side Rennes, came in the 62nd minute to seal a 2-0 first-leg win for the Foxes.

Elsewhere in the Europa Conference League, Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun scored for Rangers against FK Crvena Zvezda in the 51st minute to cement a 3-0 victory for the Scottish club.

Both players are on the 32-man provisional list of the Super Eagles technical adviser Augustine Eguavoen for the two-legged World Cup qualifying matches with Ghana on the 25th and 29th of March.

Iheanacho, in the recent AFCON event in Cameroon, was highly instrumental to the forceful attack of the Super Eagles where they won all their three matches in the group stage.
