A’ Ibom : Apostle Okoriko regains freedom after four days in Kidnappers den

The Founder and President of Solid Rock Kingdom Church , Apostle Dr John Okoriko recently kidnapped by unknown gunmen in the church premises has been released after spending four days in the kidnappers den .

Apostle Okoriko known for his revolutionary preaching against non existence of Satan and notorious beliefs especially in witchcraft was whisked away by the hoodlums to unknown destination.
The Trumpet gathered that the following day , the kidnappers used the cell phone of Okoriko’s driver which was snatched during the operations and communicated with the family demanding N100m ransom to secure his freedom .

Investigation revealed that the ransom was reduced to N30m on Thursday and was later slashed to N10m on Friday afternoon . The Trumpet Gathered

However, it was not clear whether the amount was paid before the man of God was released .

But when the tension was high as the family could not gathered the negotiated amount for the hoodlums , the man of God sauntered in amidst jubilation among the church and family members.

It was gathered the kidnappers were not comfortable with keeping the Church Founder in their custody because of social media and newspaper reports which made them to facilitate the pastor’s freedom as it had drawn attention of government and security Agencies .

The Police Public Relations Officer for Akwa Ibom State , Odiko Mcdon could not respond to text and Whats app messages on the release of the man of God

But he had assured Akwa Ibom residents that the commissioner of Police in the state Andrew Ammieghene had ordered investigation into the matter which had given serious concern to people in the state .
