Harry Kane tipped to surpass Alan Shearer’s feat

Harry Kane has surpassed Thiery Henry in the sixth position in the all-time Premier League highest goals scorers’ chart.

Kane in the game against Everton yesterday, scored a brace to increase his all-time English Premier League goals to 176, a goal from equaling the record of former Chelsea midfielder and Everton Manager, Frank Lampard.

The Tottenham striker who ran riot in the 5-0 win against Everton at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in front of 59,647 spectators, scored his 175th Premier League goal in the 37th minute against Everton.

With the proven records of Harry Kane in front of goal, the England striker has been tipped by football pundits to surpass the record of Alan Shearer who holds the all-time record in the chart within a five-year forecast.

Shearer, 260 goals in the Premier League before he retired, is 84 goals ahead of Harry Kane who still has a lot of playing time to overtake Premier League idol on the top chart.

Coincidentally, Kane on April 16 last season, beat Liverpool legend, Robbie Fowler’s to the 7th position on the chart when he scored a brace against same Everton to record his 164th all-time Premier League goals.

In line with his consistent performance, Kane attributed his success to constant practice and hard work.

Furthermore, the England striker disagreed that there is a secret behind his success because he takes his chance when it presents itself.

However, the striker acknowledged that he has improved over time.
