Guardiola sets record in UEFA Champions League

Pep Guardiola became the coach to have reached the highest number of semifinals of the UEFA Champions League after Manchester City triumphed over Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.

Manchester City had won the first leg of the double qualifying tie at the Etihad Stadium and went ahead to play a barren draw in Spain to proceed to the semifinal on goal aggregate.
