Owena Kings and Correct Boys record massive wins

The 2022 season of the national division one handball league has begun with Owena Kings and Correction Boys kick start their campaign with a massive win on Saturday.

Owena Kings on Day one of the season, won Mindscope Academy with a large margin to herald their preparedness for a promotion to the top tier Prudent Energy Handball Premier League.

The star player of Owena Kings, Jimoh Taiwo, was in superb form to ensure that the male category got a 41-24 win over Mindscope Academy.

Meanwhile, Edo Domigos with the help of its most valuable player, Sumaila Okai, edged the relentless Suleja Shooters in a 33-27 win.

According to the reports from other matches played on Day one, Correction Boys trounced Kwara United 30-13 with its MVP Ahmed Mohammed running riot against the visiting team. Also, Benue Buffaloes in a tightly contested tie, won Borno Spiders 23-18.
